After stumbling upon a video about "writerdecks," I went down the distraction free writing rabbit hole. After way too many videos and researching and testing, I think I might have an idea that will work for me.

This week, I came across a video by Veronica Explains that explained what a writerdeck is and how you could build one yourself. It was a very interesting video and the companion blog post was basically a step-by-step guide on how to build one with an old laptop and some Linux packages. It is definitely worth checking them both out.

With this guide and several old laptops laying around, I thought I would make a "bloggerdeck." My plan was to cobble together an old laptop with some Linux terminal applications that I could use to write and publish this blog. So, I set out to plan my distraction free "bloggerdeck."
